Watch: Miguel Blanco // The Passenger
You'll recall that last week we ran an interview with the founder of Polyola foam blanks who mentioned they had a few team riders, including Miguel Blanco.
Well, this week, today in fact, Mig released a new edit. 'The Passenger' is his ode to the Portuguese winter and it features all that country's heavy-hitting breaks. It also features Mig exclusively riding Polyola foam.
There's a touch of irony in Mig's surname and the non-blanco coloured foam, though it appears some boards went through the spray room.
Music by Twelve Point Buck, 'Home'.

skill & local knowledge provides the confidence for some incredible tube riding...
These new polyola board blanks, combined with basalt/hemp/flax cloth & Vinyl-ester resin would be flexible, very strong, brown & could last for years...
I had a V-Ester board reversed over by an HR Holden (fins up) and it bounced back into shape with a little crease (returning to its original bottom curve!)

That last wave at Coxos, around the 2.30 mark, was sublime.
I agree!!
Epic! No slow mo, no turns and barely a wave under 6ft!
Charging!
Seems like a true water-man! Got some very large kahunas on him as well.
Bonkers good surfing! That 3 barrel wave was legendary
Wow!!!
