WTF? The music is actually the best thing going on this clip.
Everything that has gone wrong since the marketing of big wave surfing to the masses became a thing is here to see.
Fat old guys towing though paddling surfers (almost right into one guy) at an even fatter 6 ft (maybe "8ft Sydney size?) burger, throw in surfers wearing lifejackets designed for 30ft waves and with their shiny new guns which all will look awesome on their instagram....
Makes Tim B,s stuff look a shitload better.

Stereotypical keyboard warrior. Must feel good releasing all that negativity? Show us some pics of you charging...

Probably felt almost as good as you typing out your sanctimonious response Neddy.
I'll throw some positively at the clip, at least the Bonelessthong kept it to only one still shot of himself for a change

I’d prefer to watch a DragBoardCo movie over this.

Well that was interesting... saw some photo stills of this swell, and these people, at these spots that looked awesome...
But the video footage fills in some gaps... sure, it's big but it's a also bumpy as and looking a lot less critical and interesting... I watched it at 1.5 speed to make the viewing more tolerable
Feeling better about my choice to chase something smaller, cleaner and to my eye... better... in the protected corners over this last weekend. That old second hand 8'+ gun in my garage has had 2 outings in three years, and without the inclination (yet?) to invest in a ski, it's looking like it'll be those VERY rare days when it's bigger AND clean AND when I can clear my diary when it gets wet again

A marked improvement in music choice. If JJF can get away with it why can't Tim.
Otherwise no dice for this clip.
Tim seems to trying really hard now.

I really enjoyed that. Nice tempo to the whole thing, and good to see people out giving it a go in less than stellar conditions.
There's something very satisfying in taking a big board out in large and tricky conditions, and just plowing through it.

Some footage from straight ahead would have put the size into better perspective - looks heaps bigger than 6-8ft to me! BTW what's wrong with 'fat old guys' (swellnet's main demographic)?

I know a few of those “fat old guys” and honestly some of the best surfers who absolutely charge, from victory at sea wedding cake to perfect g-land or huge voodoo. They didn’t ask to be filmed they were just making the best of what was on offer.

I enjoyed it very much. Great music with some raw bumpy Sydney big wave surfing beautifully filmed

How fat is that jaime... I thought he was a bouncing orca..

Brian from Brissy - bit harsh on Jamie!
You gotta hand it to people who do not keep fit, yet have no problem surfing big waves.
Case and point..............Breath hold is largely psychological.
