So Ben coffs cam still out ........any eta?

No, and I'm getting the run around from the ISP wholesaler too, which is driving me nuts. No idea why it's out - we've sent technicians down a couple of times and the problem isn't at our end, it's at theirs. Very annoying.

On a positive, we're upgrading this cam to a proper full PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) camera in the next few days so we'll have a better view of what's going on.

Turns out the cable leading into the building had been vandalised. Telstra tech just called to say he's fixed it. Upstream rates are slower than usual so streaming is a little jittery but I'll get my tech guys to see if they can speed it up.

ISP downtime is just one of the lovely things you come to live with when you run a surfcam network.
