Hmmm… yes well it does seem to be back up & running this morning. I couldn't get it at all yesterday afternoon. Alright… thanks for your comment thermalben… I'll just go back to my eggnog then shall I. Merry Christmas… carry on!

Sometimes the ADSL connections do go down for brief periods - but we've got systems in place to reduce the down time as much as possible. The entire Portsea surfcam infrastructure was upgraded a short while ago, so hopefully it'll be more reliable.

The only thing we're unable to find a better solution for is the regular misting on the glass (of the Surf Club tower, in front of the surfcam) - there's no other way to clean it than by getting someone down there with a chux and a bottle of water.

Yes the misting can be a nuisance sometimes can’t it. Maybe cleaning the surfcam could be a punishment for unruly grommets at the Portsea club. I think 12hr shifts should surfice… that’d get ‘em into line, quick smart.
