Tracked down a rare garage punk review...lucky tbb backtracked coz they kinda sneakily buried it!
https://punk-ponk.com/the-rippers-of-the-20th-century/
"Label : Primitive adolescent rock with edgy slapback echo, crisp. highs & muddy distortion!
Will Arnold is the crazy guitar mutilator on harsh instrumental!" (See! Just wot tbb was tryin'to say!)

May I present Mr Richard Cheese….
didn't even get close to mr Cheesey, my time in Vegas, all I wanted to be was an audioslave. Long trip to nowhere .
Nice finds everyone... especially those joining in on the themes ;)
Blackers, I noticed Dick changed a couple of words to soften the tone on that last one.
Next up...
I get the sense that Dick likes to keep it nice Patrick.
Anyways. This is also a bit of fun.
I had a Manowar song lined up to post for the transport theme, but the theme ended before I could slip it in there. Now I've just come across this... though it's more a tribute & piss take rather than a cover:
Four play two play

System of a Hoedown

I dont think it ended, just pulled into a layby. Carry on.
One for the transport theme.
Robwilliams...luv that...here's a pair of 'Runaways' L/R Speaker Stacks!
1968 Pleasure Seekers - Mr Power. (15 years ahead of time & still slaughters the Heavy Goth era ).
Alt Top 5 chix Rock Trax > (Massive sound totally crushes today's Alt divas!)
https://quatrorock.com/quatrorock/media/discography/mr-power-2/
1979 Girlschool - Take it all the way ( Punk Metal Pioneers )
Alt Top 10 Chix Rock Trax (Still got a loco full of gritty raw power!) Too hot too handle!
Extra Extra. In news today Vince Vance and his cohort waited 30 years to sue Mariah and hers. Wants a 20 million share of the takings. I reckon Pee Wee Herman might have a claim on it too.
Pleasure seekers we are. (Also known as psyched and on the loose.)
Get on yer boat.
You can chuckle at Jack Robinson’s approach to competition if you like, doubt the veracity of his scores and generally cast a pall over the way he’s thinking outside the box in pursuit of success.
But you can’t argue with his obvious personal turnaround as a man coming to grips with his power over his own destiny. Robbo is taking the bull by the horns and taking control. He might not be responsible for the scores handed down by the judges but he’s taking responsibility for everything else.
Robbo has the EYE
As Leslie Nielsen said in Superhero Movie, "With great power comes...."
If you don't like boats, lets hit the air.
Let's go a bit higher again, shall we Blackers?

Good Idea
Blackers my old ipod and memory can't keep up, will see what i got when i have a little more time boat and air wise. So much stuff out there keep it coming, great to check the charts and comments with them on in the back ground what ever they are.

May be one explanation for my tinnitus :). But then again so could this sort of thing.
blackers haven't had time to organise my memory so heres a few from internet boat and plane.
Great mix as always Rob, cheers.
A few more from the archives.
This set is simply amazing..listening to it with good earphones jogging through the bush was like being on acid.

epic ground swell levitating in my chair, go to hear a little electronic. ben tried to find your rash eliza robe song on utube. could only find live at ed for Diplomat
zens from other post girls ruling.
Francois k doing a live remix of running up that hill...
Midnite Special : Old School prog rocker that blew up MTV.
1981 tune was banned...not for gutsy Cross Cultural yuppie parody but for something more serious!
Vid centres around The Prez being Tried & Fried on The Electric Chair.
Thus the Song was buried whenever & wherever it could be!
Strange how tbb had to conjure it up...after some jaded thoughts...Hell yeah! That forgotten song!
Tune was new in every way...like other 70's Prog Rockers that spun out the '80's Kidz.
Song addresses the mass I.D crisis & Suicides during this fast paced New Wave era...
World changed much faster back in the day...hard for today's youth to reckon with that!
Punkz + New waverz saluted the Old Dude for dumping his hot mess on the table!
Frank Zappa ...You are wot you is...and that's all it is!
Ok! This song does have an odd companion of sorts that flips everything on it's head.
1984 Quirky off beat tune & vocal style with lots of trad instrumental fusion.
This song deserves credit as it was near impossible to come up with a totally new sound at this point in time!
Yet these guys did just that! Crew can hear the clever heavy layering it took to achieve this...but it works.
Such a cool sophisticated sound...carves out a space in time that only they could forge!
Wotz even better for us...is hardly anyone knows...can be our secret!
What is This...Mind My have still I < ( sdrawkcab sdaer )
Good to see Swellnet's Head Knob beating the skins at Ed Castle.
Following the recent cold snap I purchased a pair black fingerless gloves. Wonderful things that keep my hands warm yet I can still type effectively or eat hot dumplings without getting them dirty.
Since wearing them I've developed an involuntary, repetitious spasm that sees me cock my right arm, flex the bicep, and clench my glove-covered fist.
It's not an uncomfortable affliction, truth is I get a lip-curling kick out of it, yet I've no idea what's brought it on.
Anyway, here's some Billy Idol:
haha ,,Yo Adrian
Alright, time for some discussion on what yr all listening too. My iTunes inventory is getting a little stale so I'm up for some inspiration.
Currently loving The Drones' album "Havilah".. incredible songwriting and some of the best recorded guitars and drum I've heard in a long time. I'm a little late to the party with this album but it's on high rotation at the moment and will probably stay there a while. I've seen these guys live once (Fowlers, Adelaide) and fortunately they're incredible on stage too. Can't wait to see them again.
