And for sure Hollywood. Actors and Screenwriters in particular. Get ‘em in from from all over the joint. This model is broken and needs recalibrating. The SAG and the WGA are in need of a solid dose of deregulation and their members would benefit enormously from full exposure to an open global marketplace and the free movement of people. No doubt this would provide a better outcome for the consumer. Consider the over valued and over costed dross that these overpaid American workers inflict on the modern streamer and cinema goer. The modern consumer shouldn’t be compelled to suffer the grotesque trickle down effect produced when an employer such as Apple, or any studio, is compelled to pay an employee such as De Niro $20m for a role he was fifty years too old for in the service of a movie that no one saw. Don’t tell me that there aren’t thousands upon thousands of folk from other countries out there - diverse people of colour no less!! - who could be brought in to do this shit at least almost as good, and for way, way cheaper. And really, there is pretty good stuff coming out of South and Central America now, so why not just shift the whole show from L.A. to Mexico? Still get a gig playing dress ups down there, I guess, if your fee is competitive enough, but forget your SAG and WGA conditions. Mexico’s system is much more flexible, dynamic and efficient. Heaps better. I’m sure Robert, as a good progressive, would support these measures, in solidarity with the millions and millions of Americans who’ve already benefited from such progressive Clintonian dogma over the last thirty years. I think he is more interested in talking to people that he digs on subjects he is interested in, lots of his guest are not very well known, Klitschko is a much more realistic guest.

He could pretty much have anybody on, but half the people he has on aren't big names, he isn't like Tucker Carlson chasing big names like Putin.

If you dont like Joe or his podcast fine, but all this trash talk about him being a pussy, liar or his height, blah blah blah, is well as you said pathetic, it's just dumb, you really have no reason to hate on him other than supporting Trump, he is just a podcaster that you have most likely never listened to a whole episode of.

Personally I dont mind him, i agree with him sometimes i dont agree with him other times, (sometimes strongly disagree with him) i listen to maybe one in twenty of his podcast* mostly the people that i think interest me, but to be honest, sometimes the best podcast are the ones that i have no idea who they are until it's starts playing and then it ends up being very interesting

Like millions of others i enjoy them, because he has a whole range of different people on from all walks of life and then they talk for three hours that allows them to really go into depth, it's not scripted it not cut it not set question & answers, basically it's real conversation.

I think his podcast are popular because of these things, which are all the opposite of the mainstream media, that just feeds you, short, highly edited, based on narratives of what sells or gets clicks, and even when the media does interview people, those people often say elsewhere, they edited it to make me look this way or didn't include the most important point etc

I don't mind Rogen and had listened to some of his podcasts before he was/ became political. Don't agree with it all but what other platform has these open conversations?
You may not agree with everything he says, but cannot fault his interview style, he seems to just want people to open up.

But the switch to Trumpism, and advocacy of Trump and Putin propaganda, and some of his non political and political conspiracy musings left me very underwhelmed, and his "fuck Ukraine" and then apparent unwillingness to entertain Zelensky or Klitschko made me think he is an intellectual pussy, unwilling to match his words with action, ("I'll have anyone on"), and lightweight masquerading as some kind of authoritative opinion maker that has managed to exert undue influence over political discourse and even an American election.
